Returns & Refunds

This policy is a part of our Terms of Use. By listing products on our website you agree to adhere to this policy and our Terms of Use.

Handtribe is a marketplace for independent stores, each with their own shop policies regarding returns, refunds and exchanges.

For Domestic Orders

In general, each Seller sets his own policies regarding refunds and exchanges. These should be displayed in the Seller’s Shop policies page. Not all Sellers accept returns. We encourage the Buyer to review the listing and the Returns and Refunds tab before making any purchase decisions. In case the Buyer orders a wrong item, he/she shall not be entitled to any return/refund.

In the unlikely event you are dissatisfied with your order, you can return your order under the following circumstances – 

  1. Item was damaged during shipping
  2. Item was not as per the images provided by the Seller
  3. Wrong item sent by the Seller 
  4. Item was received 1 week after the specified dispatch time

A BUYER NEEDS TO REQUEST FOR RETURNS WITHIN 7 DAYS FROM THE DAY OF ORDER REALIZATION.

Please note that products under the Personalized Category and Products which are Made to Order cannot be Returned and Refunded.

In case of Replacements:

If the Return request has been settled in favour of the Buyer, the Seller while closing the return ticket can select one of the following:

  1. Replace after shipment collection – Seller has agreed to wait for the logistics team to collect the shipment from the buyer before replacing it.
  2. Replace without shipment collection – Seller has agreed to replace the order without expecting the original shipment back.

In case of a replacement, if the Seller doesn’t have the product at all, Seller can provide the refund to the Buyer and Buyer shall be obligated to accept the refund in lieu of replacement. All the product parameters shall be required to be complied with in cases of replacement.

In case of Returns :

In the event the Seller accepts the return request raised by the Buyer, Buyer will have to return the product and then the refund shall be credited to the Buyer’s account.

In case the problem isn’t resolved within 3 days from the date of intimation to the Seller about the refund request, the refund request shall be settled in favor of the Buyer.

Further, for returns being made by Buyer to the Seller of the product, the following parameters need to be ensured by the Buyer:

If the product being returned is not in accordance with the above parameters, then Buyer shall not be entitled to any refund of money from the Seller.

Shipping cost and other replacement charges (if any) for either returning or replacing the product shall be borne and incurred by the Seller. In the event that the Return and Replacement request has been made by the Buyer to change the size or colour of the product, the cost of shipping the product to the Seller shall be borne by the Buyer.

Return could also result in refund of money in most of the cases. Refund will be processed through NEFT within 7 – 10 working days. In the case of a COD order, the refund will be generated in the form of a Handtribe Voucher for the same amount.

If Handtribe has suspicion or knowledge, that any of its buyers and sellers are involved in any activity that is intended to provide claims or information that is false, misleading or not genuine, then Handtribe may while reserving its rights to initiate civil and/or criminal proceedings against User may also at its sole discretion suspend, block, restrict, cancel the Display Name of such buyer and seller and /or disqualify that User and any related Users from availing protection through this program.

Handtribe reserves its right to initiate civil and/or criminal proceedings against a User who, files a invalid and/or false claims or provides false, incomplete, or misleading information. In addition to the legal proceedings as aforesaid, Handtribe may at its sole discretion suspend, block, restrict, cancel the Display Name [and its related Display Names] of such User and/or disqualify that User and any related Users from availing protection through this program. Any person who, knowingly and with intent to injure, defraud or deceive, files a Fraudulent Complaint containing false, incomplete, or misleading information may be guilty of a criminal offence and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. 

 

For International Orders

When it comes to international orders, Returns and Refunds are contingent upon the Seller’s policies and whether or not a product is available for Returns and Refunds.

In general, each Seller sets his own policies regarding refunds and exchanges. These should be displayed in the Seller’s Shop policies page. Not all Sellers accept returns. We encourage the Buyer to review the listing and the Returns and Refunds tab before making any purchase decisions. In case the Buyer orders a wrong item, he/she shall not be entitled to any return/refund.

In the unlikely event you are dissatisfied with your order, you can return your order under the following circumstances – 

  1. Item was received in a damaged condition.
  2. Wrong item was sent by the Seller.

Please note that the cost of the return is borne by the Buyer. A Buyer can submit a return request upto 7 days after receiving the product.
